Khali Khutta (pronounced “Kha-lee Kho-tuh”) means Bare Foot in Nepali. Dave & Prabi (owners) chose this name to represent their attitude to their lives and business.
Their “barefoot” approach allows them to know where their raw materials come from, how they are processed and who makes them.
In knowing the stages of production they are able to provide simple, high-quality products to you whilst taking care of producers and the world we live in.
Origins, Philosophy and Vision
Khali Khutta want to create an alternative option by providing genuine, honest products with more direct links between producers and consumers.
They spend time designing products and working with producers to bring you products that they think you will love, that are good for you, good for the producers and good for the environment.
Khali Khutta source almost exclusively from producers in Nepal where they are based. The materials used are harvested from plants growing wild in the Himalaya or cultivated naturally/without chemicals.
All of Khali Khutta's products are, and will always be, hand made in Nepal and biodegradable.
